Prashanth Chandran

Prashanth Chandran was one of the founder members of The Entrepreneurs Organization, Coimbatore. An Engineering graduate from the University of Nottingham, United Kingdom, he started his career at TVS Motors. He later joined Precot Meridian and was responsible for setting up new projects including the shifting of an entire spinning mill from Philippines to India. He was responsible for setting up a technical textile unit at Hassan, Karnataka to manufacture Non-Woven health and hygiene care products and continues to build up the unit. He is currently the Managing Director of Precot Meridian Limited, Coimbatore and holds a Directorship in the Indian Technical Textile Association, Mumbai.
