Mark Gaylor

Job Titles:
  • Instructor
After a year of observing the opportunities available to HVAC company owners, he sold his crane business and became a partner in an emerging HVAC firm. Mark helped grow this customer-focused business from $150,000 to over $3 million in sales in less than 10 years. The key to this rapid and profitable growth was field technician training, care, and motivation. A well-known consolidator bought the company in 1998 and Mark retired. Ten months later and bored out of his mind, Mark accepted a position as sales representative for a major manufacturer. He increased his dealer base and revenue by 30% in less than a year. His focus was teaching his dealers how to profitably grow their businesses, not selling equipment. As they grew their business, they bought more equipment! In early 2001 Mark joined No Pressure Selling® to help co-instruct Boot Camp. If you miss an opportunity to attend one of Mark's classes, you miss an opportunity of a lifetime!

Raud Hampton

Job Titles:
  • Instructor
The foundation for Raud's life was laid with his father in Ohio. His dad formed his mechanical aptitude to see how things worked and how to repair them. In the process, he learned the basic theory for air conditioning, electronics, refrigeration, plumbing and mechanical engineering. In 1981 he purchased Kachina Archery Center, a profitable business with potential to grow. Raud promoted his business by appearing on local radio programs, making presentations for school assemblies, and performing demonstrations for various organizations and agencies. It was through these appearances that he learned the necessary skills to be a good teacher, speaker, and trainer. Raud will tell you that his greatest accomplishments are his three beautiful daughters. Due to a non-compete clause when he sold the archery business, he had to go into another field. Raud became a Residential Real Estate Appraiser and remained in this field for approximately 30 years. During the time he owned his own company, he learned the skills required for running a successful business. The downturn in the economy and changes in government regulations influenced him to seek a different career path. Luckily for him, he had good friends who had been in the HVAC business their whole lives, and they inspired him to look into this field as a career.

Steve Hughes

Job Titles:
  • Instructor
Success and consistently extraordinary results both selling and managing fill Steve's track record. His experience has given him comprehensive understanding of and passion for all aspects of the sales process. In his 12 years as Sales Manager, Steve grew his team from three to eight full time salespeople. During this period, the company grew from $2.5 million to $11.3 million! One key to this phenomenal success was a special Home Depot division Steve grew from just under $600K the first year into a budgeted $3.5 million in 3 years. As a Sales Manager in a very competitive market, Steve focused his staff on the needs of the customer and the value received by selecting the proper solution. By doing this they were able to focus on selling the value instead of price. These principles are taught by No Pressure Selling®, and the Boot Camp process gave Steve the tools needed to convey these principles to his sales staff. Steve feels strongly that the No Pressure Selling® process was paramount to the success of his sales department. He attended one of the first Boot Camps taught by Steve Howard and Greg Woodman. After that experience it was clear this was the method for success. Steve held weekly "Role Play" boot camp sessions with his team. There was immediate growth in sales numbers. Steve's Home Depot program was ranked number 1 of 60 in store volume, as well as number 1 in total sales for the Mid-Atlantic region. Steve continued to use the No Pressure Selling® Process, attended more training sessions, and continually taught the principles to his staff. He has seen the process work over and over again! This unshakeable faith in the process brought him to No Pressure Selling® as an instructor.
