In recognition of Ghazala's initiative on screening and advising program on thalassemia, the GSHF-USA has established Genome Pakistan-a biomedical laboratory in Karachi to perform screening for beta thalassemia and breast cancer and has made special arrangement with Biomolecular Analytics, USA to simplifies protocols for both diseases with an aim to lower cost and complexity, enabling scale up and automation to enable to expand this clinical testing program. It will provide revolutionize access to molecular genetic testing and information throughout Pakistan, empowering patients to make informed medical decisions.
