Troubling Ecologies is a collaboration between University of Washington MLA students Sierra Druley and Jean Ni. The project is framed as a collection of landscape stories from a watery world where bodies overlap, intertwine, and digest each other. In the amorphous islands of the p.g.v. (pacific garbage vortex), boundaries between fiction and reality are blurred as organisms reckon with the refuse of consumptive culture.
