The company Cocci Luciano Srl was founded in 1978, its core business being in the mechanical constructions field. In 1983, it decided to implement a development plan, focusing resources in the construction of machinery and equipment for the full preparation and set up of bivalve molluscs (clams) fishing boats. The next step has directly led the company to the design and the construction of aquaculture systems and equipment (mussels farmed in the open sea in long-line) and the design and the construction of equipment and machinery for complete vessel establishments, vessels used in the mussels farming plants, thus naturally and optimally integrating the early company activities.
