Dr. Simone Stalling

Dr. Simone Stalling was born and raised in Maryland. She completed her undergraduate training at the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC), where she was a scholar in the prestigious Meyerhoff Scholarship Program as well as an NEC Women's All-Conference student-athlete in Division 1 Lacrosse. She graduated from UMBC Summa Cum Laude with a BSE in chemical engineering. Dr. Stalling then went on to earn Ivy-league dual doctoral degrees in both medicine and bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Following graduation from medical school, she completed an internship in Internal Medicine at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Stalling then embarked on a three-year dermatology residency at the University of Pittsburg Medical Center and became board certified in dermatology. Dr. Stalling practiced dermatology in Tyler, Texas, for four years after the completion of her dermatology residency. She credits her residency experience working in the Skin Cancer and Pigmented Lesion Clinic, Hair & Nail Clinic, and Veteran's Residency Clinic with providing a wealth of insight into the intricacies of diagnosing complex skin conditions as well as refining her use of diagnostic technology and surgical expertise. She gained additional experience learning to employ a wide range of cosmetic treatments. Dr. Stalling moved to Houston to be closer to her family and is happy to serve the dermatological needs of Houston-area residents.

Mareah Lucio

Mareah Lucio is a licensed and board-certified physician assistant (PA-C) from Sugar Land, Texas. She graduated cum laude from Southwestern University with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. One of her favorite memories from Southwestern was traveling to Peru for a medical mission trip, which solidified her dream of pursuing a career in medicine. After her time at Southwestern, she worked as a dermatology medical assistant for two years before deciding on becoming a Physician Assistant. She then moved to Fort Worth, Texas and graduated from the University of North Texas Health Science Center with a Masters in Physician Assistant Studies in 2022. Before joining AVIVA Dermatology, Mareah practiced for one and a half years in pediatrics. She is active in the Houston medical community as both a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants. In her free time, Mareah loves to travel; especially when it includes hiking with her husband and dogs. She enjoys trying new restaurants with her family and friends, making the restaurant scene here in Houston the perfect location for her. Mareah is thrilled to return to the speciality that prepared her for PA school - dermatology. She was looking for a work environment that aligned with her passion for patient education and helping those of all ages.
