We established our first location in 2005 with one Bowflex and one squat rack in the dining room of our San Francisco apartment... After working at fitness firms that disregarded training and who overlooked business, we aimed to find a better way to link clients and trainers. We pioneered a customized approach to exercise as co-founders and housemates. Even as we grew throughout the area, our gyms remained trainer-led and member-driven... We seek to set the industry standard by putting people first, education ahead of entertainment, knowledge before choreography, and results ahead of trends. We promote exercise as a way of life and market change on a multidimensional level as a product. We place a premium on good body mechanics in order to maximize your potential. We emphasize functional fitness in order to revolutionize the way you move - both in and out of the gym.
