UZHGOROD ALLIANCE

The Transform Uzhgorod Alliance came was an expansion of an earlier Transform Radvanka Alliance. Radvanka was a region within Uzhgorod that contained three Roma camps. International Teams created this alliance with four local churches (three of which were Roma churches). The Alliance was formed in 2014 and together accomplished much within the three Roma camps from picking up trash, repairing roads to allow ambulance access, providing clean drinking water to two of the camps, starting a food supplement program for needy pensioners, installing winter windows in the local Roma school, and providing water to the polyclinic that served the 12,000 inhabitants of Radvanka. In addition we began training Roma believers in sharing their faith. During those two years the three Roma churches reported they had doubled in attendance...
