GPD - Key Persons
Chonthida achieved her Bachelors and Masters of Science (Medical Technology) from Khon Kaen University, Thailand. She began her career as a Research Assistant and progressed to be a Clinical Laboratory Manager, gaining extensive experience in both research and clinical laboratory services. Most recently she worked as a Research Laboratory Manager for U.S. Naval Medical Research Unit 2 (NAMRU-2), Phnom Penh, Cambodia where she managed the research laboratory facility. Additionally, she provided support with all aspects of laboratory research and surveillance on infectious diseases projects in Cambodia and Southeast Asia. Under her stewardship in the quality assurance program, NAMRU-2 laboratory became the first and only College of American Pathologists (CAP) accredited microbiology laboratory in Cambodia. At GPD, her responsibilities are to ensure the customer's satisfaction in all matters related to GPD Laboratory Services under ISO 15189 and ISO 15190 which are the Quality Management System (QMS) standards specific to Medical Laboratories. ×
