Dr. Williams earned a bachelor's degree from SUNY Binghamton, majoring in psychology and biology. Graduate work was completed at William James College in Boston and she earned a doctorate in clinical psychology with a focus on neuropsychological and psychological assessment. An APA internship was completed with the Mount Sinai Medical School at Elmhurst Hospital in New York, and her two-year postdoctoral fellowship in lifespan clinical neuropsychology was at the Texas Medical School at Houston. As a part of fellowship training, Dr. Williams worked on pediatric and adult Epilepsy Monitoring Units, completing pre-and post-surgical evaluations, as well as in the Children's Learning Institute and a Neurocognitive Disorders Clinic.
Dr. Williams is currently an assistant professor at Mohawk Valley Community College and consults for various healthcare and skilled nursing facilities in the area. She is an active member of several regional, national, and international associations, including the New York State Association of Neuropsychology (NYSAN), the American Psychological Association (APA), and the International Neuropsychological Society (INS).
As a lifespan neuropsychologist, Dr. Williams works with a wide range of individuals with neurological conditions, including dementia, epilepsy, and brain injury, as well as developmental disorders, and/or learning difficulties. Dr. Williams has been a New York State licensed psychologist since 2015 and completes evaluations in both English and Spanish.
Dr. Serrao earned her Bachelor's degree in Philosophy with a minor in Psychology from the University of New Hampshire where she also competed in Division I Track and Cross Country. Dr. Serrao then earned a Master's of Science degree in Psychology from Villanova University, followed by a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University at Albany, State University of New York. She completed her APA accredited Internship at the Counseling and Psychological Services Center at Utah State University, training under noted Sport Psychology Consultant, Dr. Richard D. Gordin. Dr. Serrao then completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Student Psychological Services Center at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, CA.
Dr. Serrao is very passionate about incorporating diversity & multiculturalism into her work with all clients. She assisted in planning an annual Diversity Conference during her graduate training, served as an Ally during her internship, and completed SafeZone training while working for the College of Charleston.
Dr. Rogerson earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from Princeton University. He graduated with honors, and his senior thesis research on visual perception was awarded the George A Miller Prize in Cognitive Science. Dr. Rogerson earned a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Texas-Southwestern Medical Center, where he gained practicum experience in psychological and intellectual assessment, psychotherapy, psychiatric emergency care, and sleep medicine. He completed an APA-approved internship with time split between neuropsychological assessment and consult/liaison psychology. Dr. Rogerson next completed a two-year postdoctoral fellowship in clinical neuropsychology at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
Dr. Rogerson has addressed state and national conferences and authored articles on decision making, ethics, and the assessment of dementia and pain. He has been involved in research on deep brain stimulation in Parkinson's disease.
Dr. Rogerson specializes in neuropsychological assessment of adults. He has evaluated patients with memory problems, Alzheimer's disease, stroke, Parkinson's disease, and many other medical and neurological disorders. He also has evaluated individuals with mood disorders, schizophrenia, and other psychiatric problems, as well as people with problems at work or school that arise from a variety of causes. He has participated in numerous legal evaluations, including criminal cases and civil litigation.
Dr. Martin completed her undergraduate education in psychology at The College of New Jersey. Following graduation, she worked for two years as a research assistant in the Neuropsychology department at Kennedy Krieger Institute in Baltimore, MD. She earned her Masters and Ph.D. degrees in Clinical Psychology, with a Neuropsychology specialization, at the APA accredited University of Houston. She then attended an APA accredited internship at Emory University School of Medicine in the Neuropsychology track. She completed her two- year APA and APPCN accredited fellowship in Clinical Neuropsychology at the Michael E DeBakey VA Medical Center. Dr. Martin earned her board certification in Clinical Neuropsychology through the American Board of Professional Psychology in March 2018.
Throughout her training, she has published manuscripts within the pediatric and adult populations. Previous research projects have included pediatric epilepsy and brain tumor as well as headaches in the Veteran population. She has presented this research at various national and international conferences. She continues to be a part of several Neuropsychological organizations including the International Neuropsychological Society and the American Academy of Clinical Neuropsychology. Current research interests include treatment and differential diagnosis in individuals with dementia or other memory concerns.
Dr. Martin specializes in assessment and treatment (primarily cognitive rehabilitation) of adult patients with a variety of neurological conditions including, but not limited to, dementia, movement disorders, epilepsy, and brain injury. Dr. Martin is also an instructor at the University of Houston.
