While working with Kushthrog Nivaran Samiti's old age home, Mrs. Meeratai Lad sincerely felt the need to start some activity for the physically dependent people barring the age. 'Rajeev Rajan Adharghar' is situated on the land of Kushthrog Nivaran Samiti at the village Wakadi-Nere near Panvel, about 45kms from Mumbai. The persons admitted here are looked after through thick and thin and are not sent back even if their illnesses are apparently incurable. The Rajeev-Rajan Adharghar has a team of devoted and dedicated workers who look after the inmates day and night with immense care... The Trust decided to spend its money and to use its manpower for reducing the agonies and the sufferings of those who have become unfortunate victims of serious non-contagious diseases like Cancer, Alzheimer, SLE etc. and also for those who have become physically dependent on other people for some reason or the other. They are admitted as inmates of Rajeev-Rajan Adhar Ghar.
