RRSL, FARIDABAD

The Regional Reference Standards Laboratory (RRSL), Faridabad, was set up by the Government of India, under the aegis of the Directorate of Legal metrology Unit of the Department of Consumer Affairs, monitored by the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, New Delhi. This laboratory is one among the five laboratories situated at Ahmedabad, Faridabad, Bhubaneshwar, Bangalore and Guwahati, across the country, to cater to the calibration / verification / testing services of the Central / State Governments' organizations, in particular, and Public Sector Undertakings and Private Industries in general, in the field of Legal Metrology in their respective regions falling under their purview. This laboratory is stat located in Faridabad, located at equidistant from all the states in the Norther region comprising of the States of Delhi, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, and Union Territories of Chandigarh.
