Aaron Skoczen

Aaron Skoczen is a financial engineer with extensive experience in the construction industry. He currently serves as the VP of Finance for a local construction and engineering company and is responsible for the overall accounting, operations, and profitability of the company. Prior to this Aaron founded and operated a successful construction management company, performed analysis as a structural engineer, and served as a business consultant. In his spare moments, Aaron enjoys spending time with family as well as various outdoor activities such as running, hiking, and traveling. He also enjoys contributing to his community by serving on the board of the Boys and Girls Club of Tucson, Financial Executives and Affiliates of Tucson (FEAT), and serving as the treasurer of the Autism Society of Southern Arizona. Aaron is honored to be a member of the Nexus Executives and will strive to help enhance the business leadership and entrepreneurial skills of all of its members.

Adam Goldstein

Adam graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Arizona in three and one half years with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with a major in finance. In 2013, he completed a Master of Science in financial services (MSFS) from the American College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. In addition to the Series 7, 66, 31, life, health, and disability insurance licenses, after completing the required coursework at the College of Financial Planning, Adam earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certificate. The multi-year CFP® program entails in-depth courses, training, and comprehensive examinations in all areas of financial planning including investments, taxes, insurance, estate, and retirement planning. While pursuing his undergraduate education, Adam was a placekicker for the University of Arizona varsity football team. This competitive and rigorous experience enabled him to develop the leadership skills, work ethic, and perseverance crucial to preparing him for a career as a financial advisor. Adam was born and raised in Phoenix. He met his wife, Dana at the University of Arizona, and they currently live in Tucson with their two children. Adam is an active volunteer with the Jewish Federation of Southern Arizona (2013 Young Man of the Year award recipient). He also is a member of the University of Arizona A-club and coached a competitive youth soccer team in Oro Valley for five years. In his spare time, Adam enjoys golf, soccer, and spending time with close friends and family.

Allen Hutchinson

Allen has a true passion for creativity, problem solving, and helping people. He is a Registered Professional Mechanical Engineer in the state of Arizona and California, and has an extensive background in engineering consulting, particularly with heavy industrial and mining mechanical systems since 2004. This specifically includes mechanical equipment such as pumps of all types, blowers, fans, conveyors, mixers/agitators, motors, piping, valves, and more. At DXP Enterprises (NYSE:DXPE), he is able to provide his industry specific expertise as an Outside Sales Engineer, to a wide-range of sectors including: mining, municipal water and wastewater, heavy industrial, aerospace, textiles and composites, food and beverage, and governmental. Allen is a legacy member of the United States Green Building Council as a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Accredited Professional (AP). This program was created to evaluate the overall environmental performance of a building and encourage sustainability through topics such as conservation of energy, reduction of water consumption, and renewable material selection. Allen is an active member of the Society of Mining Engineering (SME) since 2005, Arizona Mining Gets Our Support (AMIGOS) since 2011, and has been a member of Nexus Executives since 2011. He is also the Vice President of the Southern Arizona Soccer Coalition (SASC), which parents the Tucson Adult Soccer League (TASL) with almost 1,000 weekly players. He is also an active player since 2009, and has played soccer since the age of 5. Originally born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Allen moved to Tucson to attend the University of Arizona. There he met his wife Michelle, and together, they now cherish and enjoy their two daughters. Allen enjoys golfing, hiking/camping, playing soccer, and will ski anything.

Charles A. Davis

Dr. Davis holds a B.A. in Finance from Northern Arizona University, a doctorate in dental surgery from University of Tennessee, and a Master of Science from Virginia Commonwealth University with an emphasis in pediatric dentistry. He serves as Director for Southern Arizona Dental Society and is involved in the Open Wide Open Charity Golf Tournament. He enjoys University of Arizona sports and rebuilding old cars. Dr. Davis is married and has two children.

David Lopez-Monroy

Mr. Lopez is a Certified Public Accountant with a Bachelors in Business Administration, Accounting & Finance, from the University of Arizona. He is a partner with BeachFleischman PC where he leads the firm's international tax practice. He serves on the board for the Tucson Metro Chamber of Commerce and Nonprofit Loan Fund. He and his wife have three children. David likes working out and spending time with his family in his spare time.

David Perks

Dr. Duane Dyson

Dr. Duane Dyson graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in Molecular & Cell Biology, with an emphasis in Cell & Developmental Biology. He attended Morehouse School of Medicine and married his classmate, Dr. Senait Dyson. He received his training in pediatrics at The Children's Hospital at MetroHealth in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Dyson has worked in pediatric rehabilitation, high-risk nursery, and private practice.

Juan Carlos Seldner

Marcel Dabdoub

Marcel Dabdoub earned his bachelor degree from Boston University with a double concentration in finance and international management. After working as a financial analyst for a few years after college, Marcel went back to school to earn his JD/MBA and worked as an attorney for several years time with a focus on real estate and commercial transactions before transitioning to business full-time. Since 2008, he has been a real estate developer, financial services entrepreneur, and business consultant. His real estate projects cover a wide range of industrial, commercial and residential developments and redevelopments, including the conversion of an industrial facility in Mexico into a multi-tenant shopping center, and the acquisition and (current or pending) renovation of five historic downtown buildings. He is also part owner of a car financing business and a title company. Marcel is also committed to his community, serving as board president for the Casa Hogar Madre Conchita girls' orphanage in Nogales, Mexico, founder and director of the Madre Conchita Foundation - a 501(c)(3) supporting organization to benefit the girls' orphanage, and board member of the Pima County Real Estate Research Council, the Catholic Tuition Support Organization, and Southern Arizona Community Foundation Properties.

Matt Schmidt

Matt graduated from the James E Rogers College of Law at the University of Arizona and passed the Arizona bar exam in 2010. Matt's primary interest in law focuses on general personal injury, insurance bad faith and police misconduct. Matt was honored as one of Tucson's 40 under 40 by the Tucson Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and the Arizona Daily Star in 2014. This award recognizes 40 outstanding individuals under 40 years of age that have excelled in their professional careers and have made a meaningful impact in the Tucson community. In addition to serving his clients, Matt is president of the Engage Foundation, a nonprofit that provides free, fun and underrated recreational activities to underprivileged kids. He is also on the Board of Directors for the Empower Coalition, a group of young professionals organized to improve lives in the greater Tucson community by empowering charitable organizations with resources necessary to carrying out their missions.

Omar is a Nogales, Sonora, Mexico, native and grew up in Tucson, AZ. After attending Cornell University for his undergraduate studies in Policy Analysis of Consumer Economics and Housing, he joined the investment banking firm of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette (DLJ) in New York City as an Analyst in its Real Estate Finance Group in 1998. During his tenure at DLJ, he worked on fixed and floating rate commercial mortgage backed securities offerings, bond investor & rating agency asset presentations, and private placement transactions. After DLJ's merger with Credit Suisse First Boston (CSFB) in 2000, he became an Associate in CSFB's Real Estate Finance and Securitization Group. At CSFB he managed correspondent broker relationships, while underwriting commercial property mortgages. In 2001 he was promoted to head the CSFB Small Balance Loan Program underwriting team and was appointed to CSFB's real estate credit committee in 2002. Omar was awarded the group's most valuable team player award in 2001 and 2002. Omar joined HSL Properties, Inc., as its executive vice president in July 2003 and was named president in 2015. He oversees the company's real estate portfolio, valued at over $1.3 billion, and manages the company's asset acquisitions, dispositions and financings. He also manages the Company's property development operation, which has constructed four apartment communities and two hotels since 2010 with a total project value of over $170 million. The Company is currently building three large apartment communities with a total project value of over $160 million. Omar is also president of HSL Asset Management, LLC, which currently manages approximately 10,000 apartment units and employs over 350 apartment industry professionals. Omar currently serves as a board member of the Arizona Multihousing Association (AMA) and has served as co-chair of the AMA's Political Action Committee. He also serves on the board of Sun Corridor, the lead economic development agency for the greater Tucson metropolitan area and sits on the board of the Downtown Tucson Partnership. He is a member of the Southern Arizona Leadership Council and the Tucson Airport Authority. He has also recently served on the board of the Southern Arizona Defense Alliance. On the philanthropic front, Omar has served on the United Way's community advisoryboard and on the board of Tu Nidito Children and Family Services. He is currently a board member of Salpointe Catholic High School and serves on the Diocese of Tucson Finance Council. He is also a member of the Tucson Conquistadores. Omar also serves as a board member and treasurer of the H.S. Lopez Family Foundation.

Reggie Geary

One of the finest defenders in Arizona basketball history, Reggie Geary joined the Arizona Athletic Department in April 2019 as a Development Officer in the Wildcat Club. He is responsible for identifying, cultivating, and securing major gifts for the University, as well as developing and maintaining relationships with a number of current Wildcat members.

Robert Medler

Robert Medler is vice president of government affairs for the Tucson Metro Chamber, Southern Arizona's largest business advocacy organization. Medler joined the chamber in 2007, and leads the organization's public policy efforts, including all federal, state and local government liaison operations. In this capacity, he also administers the Tucson Metro Chamber Political Action Committee. Medler serves as vice-chair on the U.S. Chamber's Board of Regents for the Institute for Organization Management, the national Curriculum Committee for the Institute for Organization Management, as well as the Government Relations Council of the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives. Prior to joining TMCC, Medler was a legislative intern with former United States Senator Jon Kyl of Arizona. While there, he provided analysis of Department of Defense operations and Arizona demographics. Outside of his role with the chamber, Medler serves as president of the 162nd Air Guardians, treasurer of the Southern Arizona Defense Alliance, and treasurer of his homeowners association. Medler earned a M.A. in Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga University and is a graduate of the University of Arizona, with a dual B.A. in political science and communications. He and his family reside in Marana, Arizona.
