David Gipson is a freelance theatrical lighting designer with over 30 years of professional experience... In Texas, David has been a Resident Designer at Unity Theatre in Brenham for 20 years! Additionally, he has designed over two hundred productions with Stages Repertory Theatre, Main Street Theatre, Infernal Bridegroom Productions, Catastropic Theatre, The Ensemble Theatre, and Masquerade Theatre among many others... David has designed over one hundred productions in Chicago for The Goodman Studio, Victory Gardens Theatre, Pegasus Players, Organic Theatre, Oak Park Festival, Teatro Vista and City Lit Theatre, among others. In Wisconsin, he designed All About Life for Wild Space Dance Company, The Good Father, Doubt and Fallen Angels for Milwaukee Chamber Theatre, Transformations for University of Wisconsin-Madison Opera, Trash for Theatre LILA and Shrek the Musical and Goodnight Moon for Children's Theater of Madison.
