Tractor grew up in a small town in California. At the age of 12 he and his family moved to Utah to be closer to extended family. Tractor went to Ben Lomond HS. He was a stand out football player and region champion wrestler. After high school, Tractor played football for the Ogden Rhino-Raiders (82-2). He later played for the Wyoming Cavalry in both the AIFA and IFL (arena football) in Casper, Wyoming. After his arena football career, he returned home and played for the Utah Stealth (RMFL). During his two seasons with the Stealth. They won back to back league championships. After hanging up his pads, he went on to powerlifting at PSM Barbell. While at PSM Barbell, Tractor set the Utah squat record of 1,223 lb. (2019). He was also the 12th person in history to squat over 1,200 lb. During this time he found his second love of BBQ. After starting with a small pellet smoker that was given as a gift, he grew into a much larger charcoal smoker. Tractor's BBQ was born.
