My name is Cyrus. I am an Iranian-Canadian photographer and have been living in Berlin for a while. I would like to share this collection with whoever that might be interested. The work inspired by Venetian Renaissance paintings with Mythological themes. If you find some of the titles sound Christian, fear not, this is not a promotion of religiosity. It is because Christian myth is ingrained into western art and I am paying homage to old masters and making a reference to their paintings. After all religions are basically more or less mythology. They are as real as the Greco-Roman or Norse mythologies are; and just like those once fervently practiced mythologies, biblical tales are core to our common story.
