BuildStrong Education is an evolution of the Foundation for Educational Excellence which was founded in 1997 by Pat Hamill, CEO of Oakwood Homes and Marshall Kaplan with the University of Colorado at Denver. Renamed BuildStrong Education in 2017, we are a 501c(3) non-profit, private foundation... At BuildStrong Education, we are leaders in focusing on the valuable connection between education and community. We support builders such as Oakwood Homes who are creating intentional planning processes which result in master plans not only for a community but also for education.
