After helping her patients lose weight through surgery, Dr. Deol realized they also needed treatment for the pain and heaviness of varicose veins, which often prevented them from maintaining their weight loss with exercise. That realization moved her to transition into vascular surgery, specifically minimally invasive endovenous surgery for varicose veins. In 2016, Dr. Deol was tapped to lead Center for Vein Restoration vein clinics in Ohio and Detroit. Among Dr. Deol's many professional accomplishments is her service on the American Vein and Lymphatic Society's international committee, where she learned of the latest vein procedures used around the world. She also served on the website and social media committee at the American Venous Forum to further public education about venous disease.
