Anuj Shah, MD, FACEP, earned his medical degree at Northeast Ohio Medical University. He completed his residency training at Summa Health Systems and Akron Children's Hospital in Akron, Ohio. He graduated from the esteemed combined 6-year BS/MD program through Kent State University and Northeast Ohio Medical University. He is board-certified in Emergency Medicine.
During his residency training, Dr. Shah first began using ultrasound in the care of his patients. Since then, Dr. Shah has amassed more than 20 years of experience with ultrasound-guided venous access, the very foundation used in the minimally invasive vein procedures offered at CVR's vein clinics.

Dr. Shah is a managing partner in the emergency department at Holy Cross Hospitals in Silver Spring and Germantown, Maryland. He also is an assistant clinical professor at Georgetown University School of Medicine.
Barbara S. Terpstra, MD, is dual board-certified in OB-GYN and phlebology, giving her a unique perspective on the role vein disease, spider veins, and varicose veins play in women's lives. As the lead physician of her all-female staff, she has nearly three decades of medical experience providing patients with a collaborative approach to medicine - listening to their treatment and outcome expectations before settling on a singular treatment method. Dr. Terpstra is fully trained in all aspects of vein disease.

My husband was there and he was very happy everybody was so nice and friendly he say.
The Doctor and the staff I dealt with were very professional and very caring about my needs. The only thing I had a problem with was the chairs in the waiting room. There was only one wide chair and I was using it when another large person came in after me he had to squeeze into one of the regular chairs. I apologize but there should be more than one chair for a larger person. I find that this is a problem across most of the Doctors office.

David H. Feng, MD, was born and raised in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. He attended the prestigious McGill University, where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology with honors. Born and raised in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, David Feng, MD stayed in his hometown to attend the prestigious McGill University, where he received his B.S. with honors in Physiology. Dr. Feng then traveled south to attend medical school at the Hahnemann University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. After obtaining his M.D. degree, Dr. Feng performed his post-graduate medical training at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, completing his residency in Diagnostic Radiology followed by a fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at UNC Hospitals.

David is responsible for preparation and analysis of the internal CVR Monthly Reporting Package, which provides a detailed view of all aspects of the company's financial condition and operational performance.
Dr. Cogan is a compassionate, dedicated vein physician, health advocate, and educator with more than two decades of medical experience. Early in her career, she saw the devastation of venous insufficiency on women's health. Dr. Cogan devoted the past decade to treating vein disease in both men and women using minimally invasive, office-based procedures.
Dr. Cogan is the sweetest and caring, professional amd also made me feel very comfortable, excepted. She also explains everything in great detail and doesn't rush you in appointments and takes that extra time to listen to me. Her staff is also amazing.
My appointment started on time which is unusual for a doctor visits. The staff acted professionally at all times. Dr. Nguyen explained her recommended course of treatment in a clear concise manner easily understood by a non medical person. She has excellent people skills and made me feel at ease during my visit.
Dr. David Fortenberry earned his medical degree from Louisiana State University Scholl of Medicine, New Orleans, LA. He completed his General Surgery residency at the University of Colorado Health Science Center, Denver, CO, and a fellowship in Vascular Surgery at Lahey Clinic Medical Center, Burlington, MA.

Duc Le, MD, graduated Magna Cum Laude (meaning "with great praise," awarded to students who have achieved academic excellence) with a BA in Chemistry. He went on to earn his medical degree from the University of Louisville. He completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at the York-Pennsylvania State-Hershey Emergency Medicine Program in York, Pennsylvania. After serving as an attending emergency physician for over a decade and a managing partner with Emergency Physician Associates, Dr. Le completed extensive specialized training in treating varicose veins and venous insufficiency.
He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Emergency Physicians and a member of Vietnam Assistance for the Handicapped, the American Vein and Lymphatic Society, and the American Board of Emergency Medicine. He assists in the Mission of Mercy free clinic.

Dr. Duc Le brings nearly two decades of emergency and critical care experience to Center for Vein Restoration. He is highly trained in diagnosing and treating venous insufficiency and varicose veins using minimally invasive outpatient techniques. Before joining CVR, he was an attending emergency physician in Virginia and Maryland, holding leadership roles that included managing partner and committee chair.
Originally from Louisville, Kentucky, Dr. Le grew up in a large family and now lives in northern Montgomery County, Maryland, with his wife and two young sons. He is active in local Washington, D.C., area charities and is deeply committed to delivering the highest quality care to every patient he treats.
Dr. Fonger is board-certified in general surgery and cardiovascular surgery and is a diplomate of the American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine (ABVLM). He comes to Center for Vein Restoration from VEINatlanta, where he focused on the diagnosis and treatment of venous diseases.
Dedicated to improving the healthcare patient experience. Dr. Nancy L. Harthun is dedicated to patient outcomes using the best available medical knowledge and technology- all while staying at the forefront of vascular health research and teaching.
Dr. Harthun earned her undergraduate and medical degrees at Yale University, New Haven, Connecticut. She completed a Master of Science degree in clinical research from the University of Virginia, Charlottesville, Virginia. She trained in general and vascular surgery at the University of Virginia, obtaining board certification from the American Board of Surgery. She completed an endovascular fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation.
Dr. Nancy Harthun, lead physician at CVR's Fort Wayne, IN, location, opens up about how she has seen vein treatment technology advance during her career. Dr. Peter J. Pappas, MD, has over two decades of medical experience. In addition to being a vascular surgeon, Dr. Pappas is the Director of the Venous and Lymphatic Fellowship Program at Center for Vein Restoration. He is board certified in general surgery and vascular surgery. After earning his medical degree from UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, he completed his general surgery residency at Cooper Hospital University Medical Center, followed by a vascular surgery fellowship at Rutgers-New Jersey Medical School.
Dr. Pappas is an active contributor to a number of vascular associations. He has served as President of the American Venous Forum, the Vascular Society of New Jersey, and the American Venous Forum Foundation. He is also associated with the American American Vein and Lymphatic Society, the Society for Vascular Surgery, the American College of Surgeons, and the American College of Surgeons, New Jersey Chapter.

Dr. Peter J. Pappas is a board-certified General and Vascular Surgeon with over three decades of experience. A graduate of UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, Dr. Pappas completed his General Surgery Residency at Cooper Hospital University Medical Center, followed by a Vascular Surgery Fellowship at UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School.
After completing his Vascular Surgery Fellowship, Dr. Pappas remained at UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School (NJMS) for 15 years. During his tenure, he rose to the rank of full Professor in the Department of Surgery and Chief of the Division of Vascular Surgery. He also served as the Medical Director of the Non-invasive Vascular Laboratory and Program Director of both the Vascular and General Surgery Residency training programs.
In 2010, Dr. Pappas assumed the role of Chairman of the Department of Surgery at The Brooklyn Hospital Center in Fort Greene, Brooklyn, New York. His leadership and dedication have made significant contributions to the field of vascular and general surgery. Notably, he has served as President of The Vascular Society of New Jersey and The American Venous Forum Foundation, further solidifying his influence and impact in the medical community.
Dr. Pappas is a vital contributor to the work of Center for Vein Restoration, providing personalized vein care compassionately and affordably. He serves as Regional Medical Director and is the attending physician at two CVR vein clinics in Morristown and Union, New Jersey. He also oversees four additional CVR vein centers in North Bergen, Hackensack, Woodland Park, and Kearny, New Jersey, ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
Dr. Pappas is also the Director of CVR's Clinical Research Program. Under his leadership, the team publishes four to eight papers annually in peer-reviewed journals and presents findings at national meetings. Dr. Tanya Ross Flohr chose to specialize in vascular surgery because she is passionate about helping patients achieve better health and comfort through precise, targeted interventions. Theresa M. Soto, MD, FACS, RPVI was born and raised in snow country in upstate New York with three younger brothers. It was there in high school she met her husband and they have been happily married since 1990.
Besides being a full time clinic physician, Dr. Soto directs our nursing program and functions as a quality assurance and safety committee officer for all our clinics. She provides training to our physicians on protocols and helps enforce HIPAA's meaningful use policy compliance. Dr. Soto is also one of CVR's Associate Directors for the Venous and Lymphatic Medicine Fellowship program.
Dr. Tuan-Anh Vu, MD, is an experienced, board-certified emergency room physician who witnessed firsthand the pain and disability caused by chronic venous insufficiency. After twenty-one years of treating patients in the ER, Dr. Vu chose to specialize in venous disease treatment. He is committed to improving the quality of life for patients suffering from the symptoms of chronic venous insufficiency, including leg pain, swelling, cramping, restless legs, skin changes, ulcers, and other symptoms of this under-recognized disease.
After earning his Bachelor of Science degree summa cum laude ("with highest honor") from the University of Maryland, College Park, Maryland, Dr. Vu earned his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine, Baltimore, Maryland, where he was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Student Honor Society. Dr. Harris serves as the Associate Director of Center for Vein Restoration's Venous and Lymphatic Medicine Fellowship program, designed to provide broad training in diagnosing and managing patients suffering from chronic venous disorders.
Dr. Harris is an expert in diagnosing and treating vein conditions (venous disease) using safe, effective, minimally invasive outpatient procedures. These in-office treatments address the discomfort associated with venous insufficiency, including varicose veins and spider veins, as well as swelling of the legs and ankles, pain, skin discoloration, leg ulcers, and deep vein thrombosis (DVT).

I had 4 months of weekly treatments for my varicose veins. Dr. Soto clearly communicated everything she was doing, as did the nurses & technicians. And the outcome has been great. Heel & ankle pain has been alleviated & I have resumed my 2-3 mile walking routine. Office staff is friendly & efficient. Highly recommend this practice for vein issues!

When I first met Dr, G I noticed his level of concern for me as his patient. He took the time out to explain and answer any of my questions. He was knowledgeable. He had very honest eyes. His assistant was also kind and explained everything step by step. I should add. There's online preregistration. The office runs on time. I didn't even wait 5 minutes. The young lady who scanned my veins was very sweet and focused. There's a great work flow, quiet, and discreet. The staff is well put together. I felt very comfortable and I will recommend this office. Overall, great experience.

John A. Rossi, MD, is a board-certified surgeon and phlebologist (a specialist in the examination, prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation of venous diseases) with over 30 years of experience. He graduated Summa Cum Laude ("with highest honor") from Allegheny College with a Bachelor of Science in Biology.

With more than 20 years of experience in the healthcare and retail industries, including a Fortune 50 company, Jon is a focused leader, bringing healthcare practice management experience with organizations of 1,000 employees and 150 doctors. Jon is a graduate of The Georgetown University Leadership Coaching Program and is very involved in local mentorship activities.
Leading our finance team, Jose is responsible for the company's day-to-day accounting, medical supplies purchases, accounts payable to vendors and employees and payroll preparation.
This was my first appointment with Dr. Cogan. She is amazing, very down to earth, shows interest in my concerns and desired results. Talks straight forward so there are NO confusing medical talk. I highly recommend her for any veins and vascular needs. The support staff is also wonderful to work with. I told the receptionist that I felt as if I had found a diamond in the rough. The only difficulty I had was finding the office. I'm not from the Columbus area, and definitely not familiar with the Grove City area. The office is hidden, I had to call to get guided direction. I suggest you do your research on their exact location.
Kelly manages clinical compliance, heading the application process and maintenance of certification for IAC Vein Center accreditation, reviewing resumes and phone screening applicants. She also perform in-person and virtual site visits and evaluations.
With more than 30 years of executive experience leading and managing high-growth, multi-entity innovative healthcare providers, Ken Abod serves as our Chief Financial Officer at Center for Vein Restoration.
Ken has an extensive financial background and track record of developing and re-engineering financial infrastructures that improve operational efficiency and corporate processes. His expertise is in both public and private companies, and he's led growth strategies as well as large-scale M&A transactions.
Before Center for Vein Restoration, Ken was the EVP/CFO at MyEyeDr, and before that he was the SVP & Treasurer at Hanger, Inc. In 2015, the Washington Business Journal recognized Ken as CFO of the year.
As a Board Certified Physician and Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation, Dr. Khanh Q. Nguyen serves as our Chief Medical Officer at Center for Vein Restoration.
In addition to his extensive training in ultrasound and vascular access, Dr. Nguyen is a Managing Partner of Silver Spring Emergency Physicians at Holy Cross Hospital, as well as a former board member of the same group.
Dr. Nguyen's work is revered in the vascular medical community, and his breakthrough work in the field of venous disease has been nationally published.

Laura Kelsey, MD, is a vein specialist with vast experience in using minimally invasive procedures to help patients overcome symptoms of venous disease, including leg pain, swelling, cramping, varicose veins, restless legs, ulcers, and more. Having spent most of her life in Michigan, she is a proud, active member of the Grand Rapids community. Luis Barajas, MD, RPVI, DABVLM, a native of Northwest Indiana, earned his medical degree at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis. He completed his residency training in family practice at Methodist Hospital in Gary/Merrillville. He is board-certified in venous medicine by the American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine. Dr. Barajas is a Clinical Professor at the Indiana University School of Medicine, educating future physicians in venous disease and the latest in evidence-based treatments.

David G. Today, was my first visit to CVR on Seminole with Dr Laura and Team. First on the agenda was an ultrasound to determine what the problem was with my veins. I met with Brianna "Brie' 15+ plus years experience in doing ultrasounds, and wow was she good! Not only did she take the time to explain what she was doing on every level but was also very considerate in my comfortability and how I was feeling during the entire procedure! Her bedside Manner and her cheerful personality was Top Notch! So, it definitely wasn't a surprise to find that Dr Laura, the leader of this team, was not only a professional who lead with a compassionate and knowledgeable manner, but knew what she was doing! She explained the results of the ultrasound thoroughly and the problems that I had. She provided options and how I to proceed, and what I could expect! She followed it up with Jen who also very pleasant who talked about stockings and purchasing options through their office or other avenues. Again, very thorough! Dr. Nguyen is experienced and knowledgeable in venous and lymphatic disease and has completed over 1,000 venous ablations. Her special interests include treating venous ulcers and stasis dermatitis using minimally invasive vein treatment options, including sclerotherapy, ambulatory phlebectomy, radiofrequency ablation, endovenous laser ablation, VenaSeal (a cutting-edge medical adhesive used to seal the diseased vein) and ClariVein (an endovenous ablation technology, that combines two approaches, mechanical destruction of the vein and a sclerosing agent, to treat bulging varicose veins).

Mike Sebastian, MD, is board-certified through the American Board of Family Medicine. He is a member of the American Venous and Lymphatic Society (formally the American College of Phlebology) and the American Academy of Family Practice (AAFP).
During his years in medical residency, Dr. Sebastian saw patients with symptomatic varicose vein disease, also known as chronic venous insufficiency. It became clear to him how underrecognized and undertreated vein disease and how vascular disease can profoundly reduce a patient's quality of life. This is why he decided to devote his medical career to vein treatment.
