Benson Engineering is a third generation, family owned, representation firm. The company was founded in 1946, by Carl A. Benson. The young company was started by representing a leading bearing manufacturer and in the years that followed, Mr. Benson built a business founded on great products, hard work, integrity and a strong ethical standard that has been passed down through generations. In the 1970's Carl R. Benson took over the business. This generation added a warehouse business to the portfolio, which moved the organization into new markets and opportunities. Throughout the 1990's, the organization continued to change as new generations became active. 2000 was a pivotal year for the company as a partnership between Curt Benson and Alan Hobbs set the course for future growth and development.
