WOMEN ICONS NETWORK

The Women Icons Network initiative commenced in 2016 when we started talking to and interviewing women achievers and leaders across South & South East Asia. These conversations made us realise that the success stories of women leaders need to be publicly recognized, so that such women not only become role models for future generations but also help change societal mindsets. This led to the establishment of the Women Icons Summit & Awards in 2017 followed by expansion of the same to Malaysia in 2018. Beyond the annual summits in Singapore and Malaysia, the Women Icons Network has continued having conversations with women leaders on a regular basis. Based on these conversations and feedback from the women leaders, we realized that it is important to work with organisations to move the needle on achieving gender balance at workplaces.
