Mr. Gupta has worked across consumer & retail industries like Dabur, United Spirits, Whyte & Mackay, Café Coffee Day & Essar Retail. In his current role as Partner at Essar Capital (Technology & Services vertical) he is leveraging his experience in the new age sectors to invest, nurture & incubate promising tech enabled start-ups & which have high headroom with global business potential. Alok works closely with the founders on strategic agenda, scale up rigor, capital & resource mobilization, building network effect & problem solving for growth hacks. As CEO of Ultra Gas & Energy, Mr Gupta is bringing his passion on enabling global ESG agenda to catalyze the adoption of clean fuels by industries & heavy transport in an innovative manner.

He steered the gas sector in India and played a key role in accelerating the country towards a low-carbon economy. He has over 12 years of board experience, with 10 years as Chairman and Managing Director of GAIL (India) Ltd. He has also served as the Chairman for Brahmaputra Cracker & Polymer Ltd; Member Board of Directors for Petronet LNG; Chairman of the Board of Mahanagar Gas Ltd; Chairman of the Board of Indraprastha Gas Ltd; and Director of Gail Global Singapore PTE Ltd. He has diverse experience of managing various joint venture and subsidiary companies. Mr Tripathi is one of the foremost energy strategists of the country and is credited with transforming GAIL into a multi-asset multinational portfolio company. During his tenure as Chairman and Managing Director, the physical assets of the company increased three-fold, turnover rose 300% and PAT increased 200%. Mr Tripathi is an active participant and speaker at various global conferences and forums including the World Economic Forum, Gastec, Ceraweek, etc. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Allahabad.

He is also an ardent wild life photographer for over 18 years.

With more than 14+ years of experience in technology, strategy and business development, Mehul has helped several organizations transform their business by delivering multi-channel retail, ecommerce and digital payments agile architectures. He has extensive experience in digital transformation, product design & development with domain knowledge of InsurTech, Fintech, E-commerce, Retail and QSR. A strong information technology professional with a post graduate diploma in business management, he has worked with in-house teams and global IT partners namely HP, Retalix, NCR, JDA, Microsoft, BMC to deliver time-bound business solutions.

Mr Sanjay Palve is Managing Director - Essar Capital, the investment manager for Essar Global Fund Limited ('EGFL'), and has previously held leadership positions at ICICI Bank, YES Bank and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited. He has been awarded 'Business Leader of the Year' in the NBFC segment by ET Now. He is also a member of various industry associations including Infrastructure Sector and Energy Sector Committees of Bombay Chamber of Commerce & Industry (BCCI), Co-chair for Agriculture Committee of ASSOCHAM for Maharashtra; Infrastructure Committee of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) for Southern Chapter, Sub-committee of Indian Bank's Association (IBA) on Infrastructure and CII National Committee on Bio & Wind Energy 2017-18.

His work life has given him an immense understanding and empathy for environment. He spends considerable part of his personal time helping various agencies with their green initiatives.

Post KPMG, she moved on to Asia Motor Works and Aditya Birla Group where she was closely working in Corporate Finance and Business Strategy verticals. At Ultra Gas and Energy, she heads the Finance and Accounts functions.
