The system, our organization, and the St. John Neumann School are committed to being champions for the common good in our communities. Our services, programs, and philosophies are grounded in the tenants of Catholic Social Teachings which call for individuals and communities to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, shelter the homeless, visit the sick, give drink to the thirsty, and more. This is the essence of the St. John Neumann School which is open and affirming to all faiths, individuals, and families in our community... Founded in the 1880s by the Sisters of St. Francis of Philadelphia as St. Joseph Hospital, the Sisters' original health ministry transformed healthcare in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and provided the Lancaster community with its first hospital. The hospital became a beacon for compassionate, patient-centered care for more than 120 years... At the St. John Neumann School for Children Families, we combine a personalized approach to learning with an inspiring environment..
