NEW SUN ROAD

New Sun Road (NSR) was established in 2014 with a mission to accelerate renewable energy deployment and access for remote communities. Our first projects were in Africa where we deployed microgrids, testing our IoT devices, connectivity and software. We recognized that to scale energy access, remote monitoring and reliable connectivity are critical to power systems operations... New Sun Road is a for-profit public benefit company (P.B.C.) and we are guided by principles of environmental sustainability and economic development. We make a global impact for productive purposes. Our work can be found in more than 20 countries across five continents... Our mission is to accelerate energy and internet access for under-served communities around the world, in collaboration with industry, government, nonprofit and academic partners.
