CHELAN - Key Persons

Mark Ericks

Job Titles:
  • City Council
I began life on my grandfather's dairy farm in Issaquah. Our family moved to Marysville and eventually to Sultan. I graduated from Sultan High School and went on to Everett Junior College. In my teens, I worked at my father's gas station and garage until I moved to Everett and went to work for Snohomish County in the Youth Services Department. I went on to serve in the Bellevue Police Department, and subsequently as the Police Chief for the City of Bothell, in various City administrative roles, and as U.S. Marshal for Western Washington. I coached girls' fastpitch softball and taught pitching for all ages girls at my pitching clinic in Bothell. I served on the board of the Make-A-Wish foundation for many years. I am married and have five daughters, five sons-in-law, and 12 grandchildren ranging in age from two years to 13 years. We bought our home in downtown Chelan about 10 years ago and enjoy our neighbors and our constant improvement projects.
