Adam Hubbi is an Associate Attorney at Consumer Attorneys since 2024. Prior to joining the Firm, Adam provided worked in Washington, D.C. in the financial regulatory space advising investment management funds, multinational banks, and financial technology start-ups abide by federal and state regulatory schemes. Previously, Adam litigated complex commercial cases, mass-torts, and pharmaceutical patent cases.
Adam earned his Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences from the New Jersey Institute of Technology in 2014. He would later earn his law degree from The George Washington University Law School in 2020.
Beth received her B.S. in Journalism from the University of Texas at Austin in 1991. Beth graduated magna cum laude from the University of Houston Law Center in 1997. During law school, Beth was an articles editor for the Houston Law Review and won the Susman Godfrey award for Best Litigation Paper, was in the honors societies Order of the Coif and Order of the Barons, and won awards for top grades in Civil Procedure, Torts, Contracts and Criminal Law.
Beth has litigated civil commercial cases for over twenty-five years. Beth has successfully tried cases related to mortgage foreclosure defense, wrongful recordings against real property, and has successfully appealed cases to the Arizona Court of Appeals, the Arizona Supreme Court and the U. S. Appellate Court for the Ninth Circuit. She has written numerous published articles and has served as a panel member for property law and foreclosure law seminars at the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law at Arizona State University and other organizations, such as the National Association of Consumer Advocates.

Daniel Cohen is the Founder of Consumer Attorneys. Daniel manages the firm's branding, marketing, client intake and business development efforts.

David received his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Michigan in 2005. David graduated Cum Laude from the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law at Arizona State University in 2009. During law school, David was nominated for the Outstanding Graduate Award and won the Prize for Public Interest for his work with Phoenix Valley youth.
David has successfully tried cases related to Civil Rights, Consumer Protection, Employment and Insurance Bad Faith. In February of 2015, David focused his practice primarily on Consumer Protection cases. Dawn McCraw is passionate about consumer rights and the increasing need for consumers to fight inaccurate and damaging credit reporting and illegal debt collection. Her experience in credit and debt goes back more than fifteen years when she co-owned a company which helped consumers with credit and debt issues. The injustices Dawn witnessed compelled her to become a consumer protection attorney. Dawn has acted as the lead attorney in hundreds of Fair Credit Reporting Act cases and is a certified expert witness for credit litigation, FCRA Certified, FICO Pro Certified, a certified Continuing Education Instructor for realtors, and proficient in credit reporting, credit scores, debt collection, and robocall violation issues.

Janelle is a Managing Associate of Consumer Attorneys. After graduating from the two-year honors program at New York Law School, Janelle began her career defending employees who were illegally underpaid by their employers. In order to expand her knowledge within employment law, Janelle then worked for a law firm on Wall Street that specializes in workplace discrimination and sexual harassment claims only. Janelle then returned to the first firm she worked out of law school in order to establish and develop their discrimination law department. In doing so, Janelle began making videos on TikTok to educate employees about their rights and amassed a following of over 50,000 viewers.
After having represented hundreds of employees in employment law matters, Janelle joined a hiring and payroll startup as the Leader of Labour Affairs and oversaw legal matters relating to labor and employment law, business contracts, general counseling work, and human resources. In response to the numerous inquiries she received through TikTok, Janelle founded her own law firm to provide quality affordable legal options to small businesses and employees.

Jenna received her J.D. from Georgia State University College of Law in Atlanta in 2019. At Georgia State, Jenna worked as a student attorney in the Health Law Partnership Clinic and as a Graduate Research Assistant for the university. Jenna also interned with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Office of the General Counsel, where she worked on various complex legal issues. Nick has created online courses and podcasts for attorneys practicing consumer protection law, including the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and currently serves on the Litigation Advisory Board for the Institute of Continuing Legal Education, where he has authored several continuing legal education publications related to Consumer Protection and Civil Rights.
Paul Bernard has been an appellate litigator since 1996, representing clients in a wide variety of substantive law areas. In 2005, Paul wrote the successful petition for certiorari and winning merits brief in Carabell v. United States Army Corps of Eng'rs, 547 U.S. 715 (2006). Paul represented a landowner who wanted to develop condominiums on a wooded parcel in Macomb County. The Army Corps asserted jurisdiction over the parcel as a wetland, relying upon its own interpretation of one of its regulations promulgated under the Clean Water Act. The federal district court and the Sixth Circuit endorsed the Army Corps' interpretation of its regulatory authority, but the Supreme Court vacated the lower court rulings and remanded the case. More recently, in Jackson v. Genesee Cty. Rd. Comm'n, 999 F.3d 333 (6th Cir. 2021), Paul successfully obtained a reversal of a summary judgment ruling against a plaintiff who alleged that she had been the victim of retaliation in violation of federal civil rights law. And, in In re Name Change of Allan Sq Pearson, Case No. 352377 (Mich. App. March 25, 2021), he briefed and argued a pro bono appeal from denial of a name change petition, winning reversal by showing that the trial court abused its discretion when considering petitioner's criminal history.
Paul has received an A.B. from Brown University, a Ph.D in American Culture from the University of Michigan, and a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School, where he graduated magna cum laude and was Executive Article Editor of the Michigan Law Review. Ryan D. Peterson is Senior Associate at Consumer Attorneys. He graduated from University of Minnesota in 2005 and the William Mitchell College of Law (now the Mitchell Hamline School of Law) in 2008. In 2010, Ryan joined a Minneapolis-based collection law firm where he quickly learned the rules and regulations governing consumer collections, particularly the FDCPA. As time went on, Ryan developed a deep desire to work for consumers - to protect individuals who are wrongly treated by large institutions such as banks, consumer reporting agencies and landlords.
Prior to joining Consumer Attorneys, Ryan ran his own practice for ten years suing companies under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and Fair Credit Reporting Act in federal court, and defending consumers sued for unsecured debts in state court. He is particularly proud of the decisions he secured finding that the FDCPA applies to attorneys in Minnesota who evict tenants for alleged non-payment of rent. He is happy to continue bringing FDCPA and FCRA cases with Consumer Attorneys.
Ryan is passionate about volunteering and consumer education. He used to regularly teach classes through Minneapolis Community Education to help consumers prepare their own disputes of inaccurate credit reporting information. He currently serves as a commissioner on the Minneapolis Commission on Civil Rights, in which he, along with other attorney commissioners, adjudicate alleged violations of the Minneapolis Civil Rights Ordinance.
