APSI

APSI is a not-for-profit organization that specializes in promoting prevention science and its application to prevention services in the community. We apply our expertise in the conduct of epidemiologic and prevention research, communications, consultation, and training to accomplish this goal... The goals are to help prevention practitioners to implement and sustain evidence-based (EB) prevention interventions and policies in their communities. In addition, APSI provides consultation on the development of epidemiological surveillance systems and evaluation approaches to ensure high quality implementation... APSI hopes to expand the availability of effective and efficient prevention services in communities in the U.S. and around the world. APSI works collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of select national and international professionals and experts in prevention research and practice to achieve these goals.
