Jim Mesnard founded The Rack Place in 1988.
Jim has been a leader in the material handling industry for over 40 years, including proven leadership experience at major players in the industry such as Discount Equipment Corporation, Rapid Rack, and Wholesale Material Equipment (formerly Industrial Salvage). An innovator in pallet rack design, Jim developed a hole shape in uprights to fit both Sammons and Interlake beams. He also helped design a boltless shelving configuration which could be utilized as a shop cart.
