ALA IRONWOOD THEATRE COMPANY

The mission of the ALA Ironwood Theatre Department is to provide students with opportunities to develop their acting, singing, dancing, musical and technical theater skills, through rigorous course work, live performance and high quality stage productions. We also aim to collaborate across the curriculum with other fine arts, electives, and core subjects to create challenging, exciting, and rich educational theatre experiences... The Junior Warriors program offers performance, tech, and ranking opportunities to students at our Junior High campus. We strive to produce one straight play and one musical each year exclusively for Junior High students, as well as an opportunity to participate in a school-wide musical every 2 years... At the High School level we provide performance, tech, directing, theatrical business, and ranking opportunities to students. In addition to ranking festivals and scholarship audition opportunities, we produce 2-3 straight plays and 1-2 musicals each year..
