ROBINS DESIGN

I grew up in Europe. As a young adult, I traveled and lived around the world, experiencing many different aesthetics and types of architecture. After my first career in International Education, I returned to school to earn a degree in Interior Design. During this time, I began doing small remodeling projects. I did a lot of the work myself: carpentry, drywall, painting, tiling, and floor installation. As the projects evolved and as I gained experience, I came to understand the building process, and how good communication and a sense of humor are vital to the success of the project... I have a special interest in sustainable materials and methods, knowledge of which has deepened through the past decade of being showroom manager for a locally-owned sustainable materials retailer. My goal for client projects is to combine sustainability with practicality for a budget-friendly, beautiful outcome... On a personal note, I am a distance runner, animal lover, avid reader and enthusiastic..
