MORTON COUNTY HOUSING AUTHORITY

The Morton County Housing Authority was established under Section 23-11 of the North Dakota Century Code to provide safe and sanitary accommodations to the elderly, handicapped and low-income families. The Housing Authority is governed by a five-member Board of Commissioners who are appointed to five-year terms by the Morton County Board of Commissioners... The Morton County Housing Authority operates and administers subsidized housing with funding provided by the United States Department of Housing & Urban Development. The Housing Authority currently provides 688 Housing Choice Vouchers. The counties Morton County Housing Authority administers the voucher program include Grant, McLean, Oliver and Sioux as well as Morton.
