This site outlines the arrangements for dealing with actual and potential leaks or spills of bromine, owned or manufactured by these companies. It describes the emergency service that the companies provide for incidents at bromine recipients' premises and in road, rail or water transport and the agreed arrangements for making their specialised services available for any incident where such services can provide the quickest help... These information is intended to be complementary to particular national and international chemical industry schemes. The umbrella organisation for such schemes within Europe is the European Chemical Industry Council (CEFIC) with National ICE (International Chemical Environment) schemes being established for the majority of European countries.
