BRAIN INJURY

We were established in 1995 and become a charitable organisation in 2008, offering support for the Nelson & Marlborough region, for those that are 1 of 100 people New Zealanders affected by brain injury every day... The team enjoy presenting to groups, schools and health care providers about brain injury, prevention and the services we offer... We are lucky to live in the small, friendly and beautiful Te Tauihu / Top of the South region. However, the effects of brain injury reach wide and deep. Known as an invisible injury, 1000s in our community face life-changing challenges every day. We are here to support te aronga toi whenua / a sense of belonging, helping you on a pathway to the right support. This is, in essence, our mission.
