Our funeral home was founded in Mount Eaton, Ohio in 1888 by Jules Desvoignes. Mr. Desvoignes operated a furniture store and funeral home at our current location on Main Street. Following his untimely death in 1926, Jules son, Harris W. Desvoignes, a local school teacher and funeral director, took over the business. It was known as the Desvoignes Funeral Home until 1973 when C. Waid Spidell purchased the firm...
