Packet Data Systems was formed in 1991 to supply European telecommunication test products to a market dominated by high value American products. The capabilities of the European products were identical and in some cases better but the cost was much lower so the market responded with great enthusiasm... At PDS we were also a distributor for the French developer ZTI who made an excellent range of IP traffic generators, network time servers and network disturbance products with applications shown below.
