EneRail was originally founded within the University of Birmingham. From our base at UKRRIN on the University of Birmingham campus, we provide empowering driver advisory systems and energy modelling simulations that deliver tangible savings to power networks.​ Our mission is to decrease carbon emissions associated with power systems through simple performance improvements... Here at EneRail, our group of railway experts have developed an integrated technology solution to reduce the daily energy consumption for rail operators. The technology aims to provide enhanced control strategies for drivers to achieve energy-efficient operation.
