Conceived in January 2019, the Astrophysics and Space Physics Institute for Research Excellence (ASPIRE) assembles a very powerful and unique combination of astrophysics expertise at RIT aimed at utilizing modern observational, computational, instrumentation, and data analysis techniques to enable exciting new discoveries concerning the nature of the universe... ASPIRE aims to take advantage of the upcoming data revolution by using deep learning and artificial intelligence in order to address the deepest mysteries in contemporary astrophysics, from the origins of supermassive black holes to the question "are we alone?" In so doing, ASPIRE will both inspire and prepare the next generation of highly skilled creative thinkers in cutting edge data..
