Mike McKeown is an innovative, passionate and high performing management consultant with over 25 years' experience in the tech and public sectors, with senior executive positions in Sales, Business Development, Business Transformation, Operations and Product Management, at Cisco Systems, Synamedia, Network Systems (an Oracle Company) and GCHQ. Mike is the CEO of Somerford Business Advisory a management consultancy company and Somerford Technologies an eCommerce business. Mike was a key member of the business setup team for Synamedia, which was a new company formed from the sale of Cisco's Service Provider Video Business Unit to Permira Capital. His work enabled Synamedia to save $Ms in TSA fees and quickly get running as a new business. Mike also has experience with start-up setup including the founding of his own consulting and e-commerce businesses. Mike is an active member of his local community; until recently he was a Parish Councillor for his local village and Events Committee chairman of the Lower Mill Estate Homeowners Association (LMEHA) where he organised and ran summer and New Year events for 200+ people. He previously chaired the LMEHA for 3 years. Somerford Business Advisory was founded by Mike McKeown who has 25+ years' experience as a senior executive at major organisations including Cisco Systems, Synamedia, GCHQ and Network Systems (an Oracle Company). Depending on the assignment we may also engage others from a broad network of skills and backgrounds. We offer a wide range of consulting and advisory services to business and organisations large and small. Typically working on a part time basis for either direct fees or outcome-based reward. Geographically we typically work within Europe, but we do have experience working in APAC, Latin America, and North America.
