The Longview SBDC is part of a nationwide network of a thousand centers dedicated to helping entrepreneurs and small businesses start, grow and thrive. Texas SBDCs, which number over fifty in all, are funded by grants from the U.S. Small Business Administration, the State of Texas, and a host college or university, in our case the University of Texas at Tyler. We provide business consulting and advising services free of charge to entrepreneurs and small businesses in order to foster local economic growth through entrepreneurial development, business starts, job growth and access to capital... Our office is staffed by a director and business advisors who have started, owned and operated their own small businesses. We have the knowledge, experience, skills and abilities to help new entrepreneurs start a business and established small business owners grow and thrive...
