Christine is an Associate Professor in Education at UCL Institute of Education, London. She is a departmental Inclusion Lead and the Faculty Lead on the BME Awarding Gap. She has taught in a number of schools, colleges and in the higher education sector for over 20 years. Christine has supported schools and has undertaken consultancies nationally and internationally. Christine is the co-convenor of the BELMAS Race and Leadership Research Interest Group and her research and publications are in the areas of race, equality and diversity in teacher education, the experiences of BME males in teaching, race and leadership and the use of critical race theory as a theoretical, methodological and analytic lens for examining race in education.

Deb is the Director of Developing Teachers, Schools and Academies (DTSA). She is a former Secondary Governor in an 11-18 comprehensive school, and a Vice-Chair of a Derbyshire MAT. She has sat on the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) for the Teaching Profession since its' inception in 2015.
Deb is BELMAS Council Vice-Chair, co-convening a Research Interest Group (RIG) on Leadership Preparation and Development (LPD), where she works globally with teachers and lecturers researching the system. Deb is a Network Leader for @WomenEd in the East Midlands, and coaches for Women Leading in Education (WLE).
Dr James Lane started teaching in Australia in 1995 but moved to England in 1997 and began his teaching career in this country in a Hertfordshire primary school. He now has experience of educational leadership in four different settings over the last fifteen years and his four headships have all been in challenging and diverse London schools.
James is the now executive headteacher of St Francis de Sales Federation in Tottenham and St Joseph's Catholic Primary in Hendon. Over recent years In the past Ofsted have described him as being ‘highly effective' (July 2009) and his leadership as ‘assured and visionary' and ‘inspirational'.
In addition to his experience as a school leader, he has completed a doctorate in educational leadership and management, is the programme lead for Future Leaders and has worked in school improvement for the Haringey LA.
Kenisha obtained her PhD at Royal Holloway, University of London. Her doctoral thesis examined the topic of equality, diversity and inclusion in the London Metropolitan Police Service. Kenisha also conducts research on the experiences of black and minority ethnic (BME) staff and students in UK higher education institutions. Kenisha is engaged in various collaborative research projects on subjects of equality, diversity and inclusion, intersectionality, and cross-cultural management.

Monika is a highly experienced and trusted senior leader with over 25 years of experience in higher education and has a doctorate in ‘Public Policy and Education' from Goldsmiths, University of London. She has been successfully refining and shaping excellent student experience in universities to improve student attainment and success and provide strategic leadership in driving excellence and innovation in university administration. She is committed to the agenda of race equity, inclusion and diversity in higher education, she champions inclusive practices in the workplace and promotes a culture shift that creates higher performing organisations where motivations and morale soars. She is moving to Durham University as the Academic Registrar and has held similar roles at SOAS, Queen Mary, King's College London and St Mary's University.
Richard is author of the monograph Multiculturalism and Education (Bloomsbury, 2015) whose third edition is contracted with Open University Press. Moreover, Richard is also editor of Advancing Multicultural Dialogues in Education (Palgrave Macmillan, 2018). Furthermore, he was co-editor of Decolonising the Curriculum: transnational perspectives (Research Intelligence, British Educational Research Association, Issue 142, Spring 2020). Richard was reappointed as an elected member of BERA's Council in 2019. His current research interests include: Evolving Dialogues in Multicultural Education, Integration and Education Policy-Making, Fundamental British Values and Prevent. Future work on these interests will be published in British Journal of Sociology of Education and Association for the Study of Primary Education Bulletin. Richard's consultancy work focuses on diversity training within wider continuing professional development in both schools and the Metropolitan Police.
Since starting as a secondary English and Media teacher over 18 years ago, Kelly has held senior leadership roles in three London secondary schools before becoming the Head Teacher of The Richmond upon Thames School in 2016. Kelly has experience leading initial teacher training programmes, leadership coaching, school-to-school quality assurance and initiatives to raise standards for disadvantaged students. Kelly has a particular interest in the links between high-quality rounded education and its role in eradicating social injustice which together fuel her commitment to no-limits education. Alongside her Headship role, Kelly is a trustee for two charities, St Christopher's Fellowship, a charity founded in 1870 who provide children's homes, supported housing and Fostering across the UK and the Isles of Man and The Harlequins Foundation, who combine the power of sport with the unique spirit, expertise and experience of Harlequins FC to create opportunities for people within local communities and beyond.

Yvette leads on Research and Insight for the British Council's Schools Team. Yvette has worked for Local Authorities as a School Improvement Adviser and led the programme for Early Career Teachers in Oxfordshire. Yvette is the Executive Chair of the UK Forum for International Education and Training (UKFIET) and a member of the Economic and Social Research Council's Education Advisory Group. She contributes to resources development at the Institute of Climate and Social Action at the University of Winchester. Yvette is a Magistrate and Presiding Justice for Thames Valley. In 2016 she received a Queens Award for her voluntary work as a Trustee of the Oxford Community Soup Kitchen.
