As I grew older, I began writing as often as I could. I imagined new characters and storylines, and that passion led me to Illinois State University, where I studied Publishing Studies and Creative Writing... After graduation, I worked at a holistic health center, where I learned more about health, wellness, and working with small businesses... I then joined the corporate workforce as an account manager for nationally-ranked general contractors. For several years, I put my creativeness on the back burner. Instead of writing stories, I wrote descriptions for new and existing construction projects.
