FAT CATS ON THE BEACH

I've lived in a coastal town all my life, but it wasn't until my Mother-in-law moved even closer to the beach (walking distance) that I developed a love for collecting sea glass. At first it was sort of like a contest with my husband and kids - who could find the prettier piece of sea glass. Each time we would visit his mom, we would stroll along the beach and experience the thrill of the hunt. But the more I collected, the more I began to feel inspired to want to create something with each piece I found. I was fascinated with imagining the history of each piece - was it from this century, perhaps the one before that or the one before that?!?... I have always been a creative person - ever since I was a little girl. Over the years, I've enjoyed drawing, painting, and working with clay. I then decided I'll give jewelry making a whirl.
