This was really good in the french press. I used water heated in the coffee machine in our hotel room. My press is 24 ounces, so I used 3 scoops of grounds. I immersed the grounds in a small amount of hot water for 30 seconds and mixed it until I had a nice froth. Then I filled the press up and put the cap on. After 4 minutes, I dropped the plunger and the result was great coffee... The body was nice and silky. Even with the fine grind it wasn't chalky. It also wasn't bitter. There was a nice roasted coffee aroma and it tasted like it smelled. The coffee was really fresh and smooth without much acidity. It had a nice kick and started the mornings out great. Our hotel had an ocean view and this coffee was great sitting out on the balcony watching the waves at the start of the day... I still had most of the bag of this coffee left when we made it back to Sacramento. I tried it out in the pour over using a metal mesh filter. Almost everything was the same, but the coffee was a little..
