Hi! I'm Marissa! I am a licensed NJ and NY Speech Language Pathologist. I attended Indiana University and earned a B.A in Speech and Hearing Sciences and a minor in Psychology in 2006. I continued my education at The College of New Jersey by pursuing a Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology. I hold a Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and a NJ Department of Education Certificate. I have extensive experience working with children and adults specifically with articulation, language development, and cognition. I mentor student teachers and provide supervision to speech assistants and new graduates in the field. I also have extensive training, interest, and experience with pediatric and geriatric feeding challenges as well as augmentative/alternative communication and assistive technology with the special needs population.
