Ken Sadowsky is a senior food and beverage advisor in the US and plays a critical role in identifying promising trends and early concepts in the US food and beverages market as well as supporting the growth of portfolio companies. He was a principal at Atlas Distributing Inc., overseeing the non-alcoholic beverage division which he created. He was also a director at Energy Brands Inc. (Glaceau), makers of vitaminwater, smartwater, and fruitwater from 2000 to 2006 when the company sold a minority interest to The Tata Group. The company eventually sold to Coca Cola for over $4.1 billion. He has done marketing consulting work for Fusion5 Marketing Innovations which eventually sold to the WPP Group. Ken is currently a director at All Market Inc., makers of Vita Coco, Runa, and Ever & Ever Water as well as Hint Inc., makers of Hint Water. He is a Director of LifeAID beverage. Ken has previously advised Bai Brands (sold to Dr. Pepper Snapple Group for $1.7 billion), Dyla Brands (makers of Forto Strong Coffee Shots), Essentia Water, Sambazon acai, and Theocorp (makers of Theodent toothpaste). Ken is also the Executive Director of NIDA (www.nidaonline.org), a group of independent beverage distributors in northeast USA. He has been called the Beverage Whisperer by Forbes magazine (2013). www.beveragewhisperer.com His career started in the beverage alcohol industry in 1984 as the New England regional manager for California Cooler Inc. which was acquired by Brown-Forman in 1985.
