Angie lives in Huntley, Illinois with her husband, Craig and their two daughters.

Bryan Haugen

Bryan Haugen is a staff accountant at Davidson Pargman & Co, LLC. Prior to beginning his career in public accounting in 2021, Bryan had a very diverse background including two years of internal accounting in the manufacturing and machining industry, four years of bookkeeping, and ten years of customer service. He has held positions in many industries including manufacturing, logistics, retail, telecom, and government organizations. Bryan completed his Associate in Science degree in Accounting in 2010 at Kishwaukee College in Malta, Illinois. In 2012, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Accountancy at Northern Illinois University. Bryan lives in Cortland, Illinois. He is a proud parent of his daughter and son. He is very involved in the children's dance, soccer, and other activities.

Carissa Brendle

Carissa Brendle is the Administrative Assistant at Davidson Pargman & Company, LLC. Prior to working with Davidson Pargman & Co, LLC, Carissa worked for Child and Family Connections as a Service Coordinator for Illinois Early Intervention program for 14 ½ years. Carissa earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Northern Illinois University in 2006. Carissa lives in Kirkland, Illinois with her husband, Jay, their 2 children, Logan and Rylee, and their dog, Turbo. She is actively involved in their sporting activities and enjoys fishing and boating with her family.

Jessica Shannon

Jessica Shannon, Tax Supervisor at Davidson Pargman & Company, LLC, graduated from the University of Indianapolis with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. She began her career in public accounting in 2002. She became a licensed CPA in 2023. Jessica has spent most of her accounting career specializing in all areas of small business and individual tax and accounting needs. She enjoys building relationships with client and learning their unique goals and aspirations. Jessica lives in Goshen, Indiana with her husband, Jason, and their three children, Lily, Asher and Eve. When she's not working, she's busy cheering from the sidelines at kids sporting events and school activities.

Kelly Pargman

Kelly Pargman has been in public accounting since 1995. Prior to founding Davidson Pargman & Company, LLC, Kelly worked at Borhart Spellmeyer & Company and Porte Brown managing audit, review, and tax clients. She has worked with closely held companies in various industries, including manufacturing and distribution, construction, professional service, and employee benefit plans. Kelly has a deep audit, general business consulting and tax background. She takes a very personalized, hands-on approach to her engagements. She strives to build long-lasting relationships with her clients while providing the highest level of service. Kelly is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and Illinois CPA Society. In 1995, Kelly earned her Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics at the University of Illinois. In 1997, she earned the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation after successfully passing the Board's certification exam. Her professional development includes continuing education courses and seminars on accounting and tax matters. Kelly lives in Poplar Grove, Illinois with her husband, Brian, and their two kids. She is actively involved in their sporting activities. Kelly is the treasurer of North Boone Youth Sports and former treasurer of North Boone Youth Cheer and Poplar Grove Power Baseball.

Lynn Johnston

Prior to working with Davidson Pargman & Company, LLC, Lynn worked with Borhart Spellmeyer & Company and Porte Brown as a Staff Accountant. Lynn specializes in payroll processing, quarterly returns, multistate sales tax returns, monthly accounting and Quickbooks consulting and training as a ProAdvisor. Lynn earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Illinois State University where she double majored in Finance and Business Administration and minored in Accounting. Lynn lives in Elburn, Illinois. She grew up on a grain farm, is a proud Aunt, and is also the Handbell Director at Cornerstone United Methodist Church.

Melissa Davidson

Melissa has a deep audit, general business consulting and tax background. She takes a very personalized, hands-on approach to her engagements. She strives to build long-lasting relationships with her clients while providing the highest level of service. Melissa volunteers with several not-for-profit and civic organizations, including Fox Valley WIM (Board Treasurer & past Operations Chair), G-K AYSO Soccer (Board Treasurer and Coach), Genoa Area Chamber of Commerce (Board Member), Genoa Ambassador, G-K Trailblazers Snowmobile Club, American Institute of CPAs and Illinois CPA Society. Formerly involved with Women Construction Owner's & Executives and Dundee Crown High School - INCubator program. Melissa completed her Associate in Science degree in Accounting in 2003 at Kishwaukee College in Malta, Illinois. Melissa was heavily involved in the dance programs at each school she attended, and coached dance at a local high school. Melissa Davidson, CPA, and Kelly Pargman, CPA, founded the firm in 2019 with a focus on excellent, timely service and personalized financial advice. Both had successful management-level careers for mid-size accounting firms in the northwest suburbs before partnering to form Davidson Pargman & Company, LLC. Both have experience in several industries, and specialize in audit and reviews of financial statements, general business consulting and accounting, and tax compliance and consulting for privately held small to middle market companies as well as employee benefit plans.

Natalie Kruser

Natalie Kruser, Tax Manager at Davidson Pargman & Company, LLC, graduated from Hillsdale College in Hillsdale, MI with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music and German. She began her career in the insurance industry, while taking accounting courses needed to fulfill the CPA requirement at Judson University in Elgin, IL. She became a licensed CPA in 2016. Natalie has spent most of her accounting career specializing in tax for a variety of industries and entity types, but she discovered her affinity for real estate taxation while in the real estate group at RSM. She has also worked with small firms in the Chicagoland area, including one that specialized in the real estate industry. Natalie enjoys bringing her expertise to complex client issues, and approaching her work with detail and diligence. In her spare time, Natalie runs a mobile clothing boutique, Lois Jo & Co., with her mom, and enjoys dancing ballet, two-step, and lindy hop.

Rachel Bock

Rachel Bock is a staff accountant at Davidson Pargman & Co., LLC. Rachel has over 15 years of experience in the private industry, including four years of municipal accounting and internal corporate accounting. She has held many positions including bookkeeper, account technician, office manager and payroll and compensation analyst. Rachel completed her Associates of Applied Science degree with an emphasis in Accounting in 2022 at Kishwaukee College in Malta, IL. She is working towards completing her Bachelor of Science in Accountancy at Northern Illinois University. Rachel lives in Belvidere, Illinois with her husband, Anthony, and their three children, Dean, Jackson and Ellie. She is actively involved in their sporting activities.

She has expertise in multistate taxation, IRS and state correspondence, tax research, and compilation engagements. She strives to build strong relationships with her clients while providing the highest level of service. Shannon graduated summa cum laude from Judson University in 2013. She and her husband David spend much of their free time chasing around their two sons Cameron and Ryan.
