Gillian is a graduate of Choate Rosemary Hall and McGill University. She completed the Mayerson Academy Orton- Gillingham certification program at the teaching/practitioner level. The Mayerson Academy graduate-level program is IDA-accredited and applies explicit, multi-sensory, and diagnostic techniques to tailor every lesson to each individual student. A native Canadian, she has worked in New York City (publishing), Austin, and North Carolina. Gillian is a Certified Iyengar Yoga teacher, an avid reader, and writer.
