Having been a barristers' clerk for 40 years, David's experience in the Defamation and Privacy sector is almost unrivalled. He was the Senior Clerk at One Brick Court for 19 years and is highly respected by clerking colleagues, members of the bar and solicitors alike. Dr Anton van Dellen has been appointed as as Assistant Registrar at the Faculty of Forensic & Legal Medicine Dr Anton van Dellen has been described in Legal 500 for defamation and privacy: "Anton is without any doubt a counsel and fighter for justice without borders. Anton has been instructed in many high value commercial cases, including cases involving disputes over a loan of $400million to acquire shares in a Siberian oil field; £110million in foreign exchange money laundering; £40million in cryptocurrency trading software; and £12million in Bangladesh power company shares. Dr Anton van Dellen has a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBCh) from the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg; a Doctor of Philosophy (DPhil) in Physiology from the University of Oxford; a Master of Arts (MA) in Law from the University of Cambridge; and an LLM from BPP. He was a Fellow at Christ Church, University of Oxford. Anton is an elected member of the Bar Council, is Vice-Chair of the Bar Council's Legal Services Committee and a member of the Bar Council Education and Training Committees. He is Junior Bar Auditor for Inner Temple and sits on Inner Temple's Executive, Treasury, Eastes and Bar Liaison Committees. He was awarded a Princess Royal scholarship from Inner Temple and was a Rhodes Scholar at the University of Oxford. Anton worked as a registrar in neurosurgery before taking up senior management roles in the NHS. Since qualifying as a barrister, he has represented parties in wide range of Courts and Tribunals. Liam Wells

Liam graduated in jurisprudence from the University of Oxford, has an LLM from King's College London in International Business Law and an LLM from the Erasmus School of Law in the Netherlands. He is currently completing his PhD on regulatory law at the University of Hamburg, is the Managing Editor of "Cambridge Elements in Law Economics and Politics" (Cambridge University Press) and has significant experience in research in the field of economic analysis of law. He has also been a Visiting Research Scholar at the University of California, Berkley and a Lecturer in Economic Analysis of Public Law at the University of Haifa. Liam is fluent in Dutch "I am a highly motivated, creative individual who loves to learn and develop. I have significant experience in teaching and research in the field of economic analysis of law. I am fully competent with empirical legal methods including experimental law and economics. This is coupled with a genuine ability to motivate that research with a thorough understanding of the underlying theory.
