Formerly known as Selvick Marine Towing from 1969 until 2019, Sarter Marine Towing is one of the Great Lakes' oldest family-owned tugboat companies. Sarter provides icebreaking, towing, and ship-docking services across Lake Michigan and the Great Lakes with their fleet of tugs that is based in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin... Sarter Marine Towing provides harbor towing in Sturgeon Bay, Green Bay, and Marinette. We break ice and assist ships during the winter months, and move vessels in and out of port.
