After borrowing $500 from his mother in 1970, Benny took a giant leap of faith and started his own business. With years of experience in construction work, Benny decided to specialize and within six months had changed from Myers Construction Company to Myers Septic Tank Company. In 1974, Benny purchased his first pump truck. Due to the high demand for septic tank installation and service, he began specializing in septic tank work exclusively.
