Bashir Ismael

Mr. Ismael (Bashir) has a strong background in peace & conflict (double degree from Universities in Nairobi) and during almost 15 years he has built up a senior track record through various NGOs, embassies, the World Bbank and governmental bodies in Kenya and within the larger region, i.e. the Horn of Africa. Program development and execution are part of his basic package in driving transformations and cohesion among various societal groups.

Florence Githinji

Ms. Githinji (Florence), who is a top scientist mentioned on the world scientific & university Ranking 2022, did a master's in development studies and is connected to Clarke International University in Kampala. She built up in-depth knowledge of ‘regional cross-sector development' and is an expert in monitoring & evaluation activities in the economic development domain.

Gladys Marima

Ms. Marima (Gladys), has built up a double decade seasoned career both in commercial sectors and in public governance. With a strong background in the insurance & finance industry (CIC Insurance Group), she has served as county minister for ICT and health in Kenya. Overseeing the regional transformational challenges and interdependencies between sectors, she further intensified her affiliation with regional community development. Originally, she has a Bachelor's in Mass Communication from Moi University and a Master of Art in Leadership from the Pan African Christian University in Nairobi. Ms. Marima consolidated her public value to drive national challenges on community & cross-sector development for Kenya. With this background, she has been connected to Trinco Kenya from the start.

Pepijn van den Hoogenband

Mr. Van den Hoogenband (Pepijn, 49), founder and principal lead of Trinco in the Netherlands and Trinco Development Kenya, has been working in the global field for almost half of his career; first in commercial settings, more recently in the field of PPP's, advisory and political lobbying on regional development, with a cross-sector focus. In the Netherlands he has built up his C-level interim chair role of large health organisations and in the insurance & finance branch; leading companies and running large-scale supplier market strategies with budgets of over 900 mln yearly and employee bases of over 500 fte, always with core activity on 'transformation, new to the market solutions, creating better funding portfolios & systemic condition, lobby, doing interest alignment & conflict mitigation and driving the mix of human wellbeing & financial efficiency. He did his master's in business administration at Nyenrode (in conjunction with Cape Town, Chicago) and originates from a master's in clinical psychology from Radbout University, the Netherlands. In recent years the Hague Clingendael Institute on International Relations brought him further on various topics.

Salome Njau

Ms. Njau (Sally) has a Master's degree in Business Administration and bachelor's in economics & sociology from Kenyatta University. She brings over two decades of experience in finance & accounting, business, and in NGOs like ActionAid and WorldVision, including fund management towards global donors (i.e. EU, Grand Canadian challenges, USAID), transformation management, business development and program management. Her profile distinctively and uniquely combines the robustness of financial rigour and the social skill set. Ms. Njau has thorough experience in group dynamics, empowering leadership skills and fostering social group cohesion. In this regard, she has stipulated her thought leadership as the writer of a book related to her practice on mental and economic empowerment of large groups of widows.

Stella Njagi

Ms. Njagi (Stella), is a strategic and results-driven HR leader with almost 15 years of experience in driving efficient business operations, strategy development, restructuring, change management, transformations, cooperations and mergers. Always with the perspective of human capital in mind, leading departments in commercial supply chain multi-nationals like DHL and Aramex and non-profit organisations like Aga Khan Development Network; in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania. In addition to her Bachelor's in HR, she is a Certified Professional Mediator.

Timothy Munyao
